Douglas L. Fromme is the founding partner of the firm. Mr. Fromme has over thirty years experience practicing law in New York. Mr. Fromme’s practice includes civil and criminal litigation, real estate and business transactions, Landlord & Tenant representation and various other general practice areas. Mr. Fromme, as senior trial counsel, has litigated many cases in the Civil, Supreme and Appellate Courts. Mr. Fromme represents buyers and sellers of cooperative apartments, condominium units, single family homes and commercial properties. Mr. Fromme has represented both landlords and tenants in complicated non-primary residence and owner occupancy proceedings and commercial holdover and non-payment proceedings. Mr. Fromme also represents parties in various administrative proceedings, including but not limited to, the New York State Division of Housing and Community Renewal, the ECB, the NYC Loft Board and other State, Federal and City Agencies.

Maria G. Garber, Esq.


Maria Gabriela Garber is an associate of the firm. She joined Douglas L. Fromme, P.C. in 2017. Before bringing her blend of skills to the service of Douglas L. Fromme, P.C., Ms. Garber was a senior associate in the litigation department of one of the major players in the legal services market in Europe where she developed her skills in litigation and drafting sophisticated legal documents. Ms. Garber received her law degree in Bucharest and her masters in law degree in 2017 from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York. Ms. Garber is admitted to practice law in Romania and in New York State Courts.
