Douglas L. Fromme

Douglas L. Fromme is the founding partner of the firm. Mr. Fromme has over twenty five years experience practicing law in New York. Mr. Fromme’s practice includes civil and criminal litigation, real estate and business transactions, Landlord & Tenant representation and various other general practice areas. Mr. Fromme, as senior trial counsel, has litigated many cases in the Civil, Supreme and Appellate Courts.

Mr. Fromme represents buyers and sellers of cooperative apartments, condominium units, single family homes and commercial properties.

Mr. Fromme has represented both landlords and tenants in complicated non-primary residence and owner occupancy proceedings and commercial holdover and non-payment proceedings.

Mr. Fromme also represents parties in various administrative proceedings, including but not limited to, the New York State Division of Housing and Community Renewal, the ECB, the NYC Loft Board and other State, Federal and City Agencies.

Matthew E. Eiben

Matthew E. Eiben joined Douglas L. Fromme, P.C. as an Associate in 2011.  Mr. Eiben has clerked for Honorable David B. Cohen in 2009 and interned at U.S. Congressman Tim Whalberg’s District Office in 2008.

Mr. Eiben received his Juris Doctorate from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in 2010.  As a law student at Cardozo, Mr. Eiben received a concentration in intellecutal property and wrote for the Carodozo Jurist.  Mr. Eiben also worked in the Cardozo Tax Clinic where he represented low income tax payers in various tax proceedings involving Federal and State taxes.  Mr. Eiben focuses on Landlord and Tenant Litigation, Civil Litigation, Real Estate Transactions, and Trademark Law.
